Menus and actions#
This page explains the main menus and buttons in the app. For concepts, see Key concepts. For first-time setup, see Get started.
Owned decks are ones you created. Imported decks come from Discover. Some actions differ between the two.
Bottom tabs#

Decks list#
On Decks:
- Create Deck (floating button) — opens the create sheet (name, fields, tags, new cards per day)
- Tags (app bar) — opens your tag library (Manage tags)
- Tap a deck card — opens study for that deck
- Publish Deck / Publish updates (share icon on owned decks) — publish or republish to Discover
- Check updates (refresh icon on imported decks) — see and sync author updates
Deck options (⋯ while studying)#
Open a deck, then use the deck ⋯ menu (Deck options):

Card options (⋯ on a card)#
While studying, open the card ⋯ menu:

Edit Fact#
Edit Fact opens a full sheet for the current card’s fact:
- Edit each entry (text and media: image, video, audio)
- Add tag / remove tags on the fact
- Save fact — on owned decks this updates the source; on imported decks it updates your local copy and adds a pending contribution you can send later
Add fact (from the deck menu) uses the same kind of sheet for a new row.
Studying controls#
During review (see also Start studying):
- Tag chips / Study by tag — narrow which cards are due
- Show Answer — reveal the back
- Hard ↔ Easy slider — choose the next interval
- Next — save the rating and load the next card
- Review Again — restart after All Caught Up!
Publishing, sync, and contributions#

Tags#
- Manage tags (Decks app bar) — create, edit, delete tags; browse facts under a tag
- Add tag on create/edit deck or add/edit fact — pick or create tags for that deck or fact
- Study filters use fact tags in the current deck only

On Discover:
- Search and filters (Latest, Favorites)
- Heart — favorite/unfavorite a catalog deck
- Open a deck → Import, then Go study
Summary#
Use the deck ⋯ menu for add/edit deck, publish, sync, and contributions; use the card ⋯ menu for Edit Fact, hide, delete, and report. Owned decks save changes directly; imported decks stage most content edits as contributions to the author.
